Some
relationships are formed by necessity, some others by chance or choice. Many are
breaking up because of their egos, indecisiveness, misunderstandings,
miscommunication, insatiable greed or negligence.
In
relationships there is no relatedness but only differences, which is responsible
for break-ups. Instead of accepting and appreciating the differences, they are
opposing and condemning the differences.
No one is happy with his relationships
with the others due to the concealed fact that the man is mostly unhappy with
himself. Even Intimate relationships have become fragile and stormy because of
their selfish motives. A relationship, these days, is formed purely based on
selfish gain rather than bondage. Profit and loss has taken the place of
affection and admiration in relationships.
In fact, the
god-given relationships (such as father, mother, brother, sister) are taken for
granted which eventually leads to miscommunication, misunderstanding and deterioration.
These family relationships are ignored, less cared or ill-cared, thinking they
are permanent. Therefore, No care is necessary. On the contrary, Importance or
care is laid upon temporary relationships which may blossom or not.
Men are
aching for relationships with the opposite gender and vice versa. This young
age relationships are purely physical or sexual. After their physical needs are
satisfied, they tend to feel bored with each other and not able to tolerate
each other’s squabbles and differences. Rather than repairing or strengthening
their relationships, they prefer to break up.
After the
marriage, the husband wants to prove his logic to the wife and the wife, hers
to him. Wife should understand the husband and the husband should love the wife
but the reverse is happening. Hence, the insurmountable and endless issues
between wife and husband emerge in the form of divorce.
All are not the same. Every person is simply and incomparably unique with his thoughts, moods,
attitudes, physical appearances etc. a pine tree never wants to be short and it
never forces the rose plant to be tall so does the rose plant never forces the
pine tree to be short. But in relationships we do, we force other people to be
like our opinions or wishes. Failing to do so results in hurts and issues.
Why forcing
the other individual to change themselves according to our wishes?
Enjoy the
uniqueness and differences of the other individual with deep admiration and
respect. Then, one can live in harmony with the other individual.
Caring that
uniqueness with love and accepting the other person as he or she is make life
wonderful and the relationships meaningful with completeness.
